ABOUT THE WORKSHOP

A Hands-on One Day Filmmaking Course

Co-produced filmmaking is working with and alongside everyone involved throughout the whole filmmaking process. Contributors have valuable input and feel ownership so films are authentic with clear and powerful messages.

Our filmmaking workshop in London provides practical, hands-on experience for people who want to develop their filmmaking and storytelling skills in a supportive environment. Participants learn how to plan, film, and edit content while collaborating with others, helping to build confidence in every stage of the production process. Whether you are new to filmmaking or looking to strengthen existing skills, the workshop offers valuable real-world experience.

Through guided activities and professional support, participants gain a better understanding of camera work, interviewing techniques, audio recording, and post-production editing. By the end of the filmmaking workshop, attendees will have developed practical creative skills and a deeper understanding of how collaborative filmmaking can be used to tell engaging stories and create meaningful impact within communities and organisations.

This workshop explores how to produce documentary films mindfully so contributors feel heard and respected. Learn from filmmakers with approaches and values that mirror the principles of co-production.

What to Expect on the Day

The day will be relaxed and fun with interactive learning, filming activities, presentations, and discussions. Co-production values will also be explored so they can be applied to filmmaking.
